What a great September this has been! Perfect weather for working on projects for my upcoming Show and Sale on Saturday October 13, from 9am – 6pm. The name I have chosen for my sale is Sweetest Day. This obscure romantic holiday is celebrated in the Northern United States as well as the Great Lakes Region on the third Saturday in October. It is about love celebrated by giving candy and sweets, focusing on everyone who is important in your life, and on the thought behind the action. In 1921 a candy employee in Ohio wanted to make the less fortunate smile so began giving candy to the orphans and homeless. What a lovely thought! I will be showcasing sewing..handicrafts..and of course..sweets! Refreshments will be served!

SUMMER MONTHS ARE WINDING DOWN.
It s unofficially the end of summer but we will continue to see the gorgeous weather for a while longer. While enjoying the summer I have had time to complete the rest of my current customer orders. I have just finished installing my last drapery order of three Roman blinds..one roller blind..and three toppers. Colleen commented that she was more than happy with the awesome results! It certainly makes me happy to hear such positive comments on my work! Now on with projects for my next Show and Sale on Saturday October 13. Watch for more news to come!
